The Consulate General is located in the Business District of Bengaluru, in the city center, on the 2nd Floor of the “Vaishnavi Icon” building.
The building is easily accessible by both public and private transport, and it also offers some parking spaces for the visitors.
Within the Consulate General, there are also the local offices of the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI), and the Uni-Italia Association.
The office of the Consulate General was officially inaugurated on 21st October 2023 by the Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Riccardo Guariglia, along with the Ambassador of Italy to India, Mr. Vincenzo de Luca, and the Consul General of Italy in Bangalore, Mr. Alfonso Tagliaferri.
